What you share here goes to our General Manager and Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) only. Where there's a reasonable concern about a child's safety, welfare or wellbeing, we are required by law to share what we know with:
• NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) — 132 111
• NSW Office of the Children's Guardian
• NSW Police, where criminal conduct may have occurred
• Sport Integrity Australia, where the matter involves a participant in an affiliated sport
Crimes Act 1900 (NSW) ss.316A and 43B create personal criminal liability — up to two years' prison — for adults who conceal or fail to act on suspected child sexual abuse. PVRSC will always act on what's reported here.
You can stay anonymous. We won't try to identify you. If you give us contact details, we'll use them only to ask follow-up questions if we need to.
Records are kept securely for at least 45 years (Royal Commission retention standard). You have the right to ask the General Manager what we hold and to correct it. Australian Privacy Principles apply.
